Update your WS1300 over Bluetooth
No cables and no app. Your browser talks to the station directly, sends the new firmware and checks that it started. If anything goes wrong, the station keeps or returns to the firmware it had.

Stand next to the station
Stay within a few metres for the whole update. A laptop or an Android phone both work.

Press the station button once
A short press restarts the station, and it stays visible over Bluetooth for 15 minutes. Don't hold it down: holding it for 15 seconds resets the station's settings.

Connect and pick "WeatherXM WS1300"
Your computer may also ask to pair with the station. Accepting is fine; the update works either way. Don't close the pairing prompt halfway.

The station dropped the connection right away
Your computer remembers an old Bluetooth pairing with this station that the station no longer has. Remove it, then connect again.
- macOS: System Settings › Bluetooth › click ⓘ next to WeatherXM WS1300 › Forget This Device.
- Windows: Settings › Bluetooth & devices › WeatherXM WS1300 › Remove device.
- Android: Settings › Connected devices › WeatherXM WS1300 › Forget.
If it isn't listed, turn Bluetooth off and on, press the station button once, and try again.

Ready to update

For beta builds or when WeatherXM support sends you a file. Use a WS1300 -dfu.zip package or a signed MCUboot .bin.
